Show Chest X-Ray Unit To Visit Valley The Utah State Health Department's Depart-ment's mobile chest X-ray unit will be at the REA building at the Crossroads on Tuesday, Junei 17, from 3 to 7 p. m. to provide free chest X-rays for adults over 25 years of age and certain other persons. These X-rays are designed de-signed to detect early tuberculosis, tubercu-losis, lung cancer, and certain heart conditions at the time when chances of recovery ne best. An X-ray takes only about one minute, and all residents are urged to take advantage of this valuable service. Otto Fife, president of the local Lions Club, which Is sponsoring the unit's stop in the Escalante Valley, reported re-ported that it would be necessary for a major percentage of the eligible residents to make use of this opportunity if they wish the unit to return again next year. |
