Show 'Livestock Show Assn. Begins Work On Annual Promotion Although no decision as to where the show will be held has been made as yet by officers, the Southern Utah Livestock Show association has already begun preparation for the 18th annual Southern Utah Livestock Show to be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sept. 4, 5 and 6, Eldon Sohmutz, association president, pres-ident, annoum.es. Two Important committees, whose work must be started early, ear-ly, have been organized and are at work, Mr. Schmutz says. The Premium Book Committee, again headed by D. C. Schmutz, has been at work for the past two weeks and have contacted many advertisers. It is the objective ob-jective of this committee to have the premium booklet in the hands of prospective exhibitors well In advance of the show date. Wallace Sjoblom has also been re appointed as chairman of the Judges committee, and this group Is making contacts for outstanding out-standing Judges in the busy show season of September. The association has been attempting at-tempting to provide a new barn and permanent headquarters for the annuaT show. However, no definite decision has ben reached reach-ed as yet, but it Is expected that bids for such a structure will be submitted to the association In the very near future. |
