Show Former City Residents Visit During Holiday , A large number of former rest-, dents of Parowan took advantage! of the three-day Memorial Day week end to visit with their people peo-ple here and many attended the two day race meet sponsored by the Red Hill Wranglers. Among the former residents here were the following: Mr. and Mrs. Homer Brenner of Los Angeles and Mrs. Melvln Reeves of Las Vegas, who were visiting with the Ross Guymon family over the week end. Joseph R. Mortensen, who was here from Delta to visit with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Rex C. Ward of Salt Lake City were here to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ward and family. Also at the Ward home here were Mrs. Marilyn McKinley and her young son of Tortland, Ore. vho will visit here for a couple of weeks. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Orton and Keith Orton and his two daughters daugh-ters were here from Salt Lake City to visit with the Oscar Orton Or-ton family. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Johnson and family of Kaysville, who Joined the Obert C. Tanner family fam-ily of Salt Lake City, to visit with their mother, Mrs. Luella R. Adams and other members of the family. The Tanners earner down earlier in the week, with Mr. Tanner addressing the the graduates of College of Southern South-ern Utah on Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Taylor of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Wil- burn Taylor of Bountiful were here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Taylor for part of the Memorial Day week end. Mr. and Mrs. Cene Taylor of Salt Lake City were here to spend the week end with Gene's father, Clayton Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Timmons of Clearfield were here to visit with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Hardison Adams of Salt Lake City were here with the Ancil J. Adams and John S. Dalton families. Mr. and Mrs. Hyatt Bentley and family of Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bentley of Orem were here with Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Bentley and family for the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lyman of Salt Lake City were here for the holiday and had their new baby christened in Sacrament meeting Sunday with the Infant's grandfather, grand-father, E. R. Lyman, officiating In the ceremony. Mrs. Mac Lyman was here from Salt Lake City to visit with Mac's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ru-lon Ru-lon Lyman. |
