Show fidult Education Classes Start Tuesday Adult education classes of the Cedar City Coordinating Council will begin next week. On the basis of preliminary registration, six classes have been set up. The classes will be held on Tuesday Tues-day and Thursday nights beginning be-ginning on Tuesday, Sept. 24, in the Junior High. The Tuesday night classes are: tailoring, to be taught by Carmen C. Jones, and furniture re-finishing, taught by Clifton Chatterley. Mr. Chat-terley Chat-terley will also teach, in connection con-nection with his re-finishing, other "recreational handicraft" Including lapidary, leathercraft, wood carving and plastics. Thursday Evenings The Thursday night classes are: painting for fun taught by Glen Anderson of the high school art department; sewing, taught by Helen Harris of the high school faculty, and ladies physical physi-cal eduction, taught by LeVeve Whetten. Classes in kniting are also being arranged with Mrs. Francis Shreve of San Diego as the teacher. Although registration has been held, the classes have not actually ac-tually begun and anyone is welcome wel-come to enroll by attending the class and registering there.
