Jr.. of Cedar City, became be-came the bride of Roger Gregg Bennett Tuesday, Jan. 29, in rites performed in Denver, Colo. The bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Bennett of Wheat Ridge, Colo. Setting for the candle-light, double-ring ceremony was the Central Christian Church in Denver Den-ver with Dr. Donald McKay officiating. of-ficiating. 'The bride wore a floor length gown of white satin with a cha- pel train. French reembroidered i alencon lace trimmed the bateau neckline, the wrists, and sprays! on the front panel of the skirt' Her illusion veil was held by a mall lace crown centered with a J'a".ioni and pearl sunburst pin that had belonnotl tD the bride's ii'ernat rranJmother. She carried car-ried a bouquet of cascading vvh'ite rocs sprinkled with white Teathered carnations. The lovely bride was given in marriage by her father. Attending as matron of honor was Mrs. Kathleen Breenan of Denver, Colo. Other attendants were Miss Jan Kellogg of Larch-mont, Larch-mont, N. Y.; Mrs. Phyllis Stewart, Denver, Colo.; and Miss Susan Murray, a sister of the bride from Cedar City. Her attendants wore dresses of copen blue brocade featuring a basque bodice with wrapped bell-shaped bell-shaped skirts. Candlelighter was Miss Shirley Bennett, sister of the bridegroom. She wore a gold brocade dress patterned after the attendants. Performing the duties of best man was Lee Bryant of Oklahoma Oklaho-ma City, Okla. Ushers were Norman Bennett, brother of the bridegroom; Thomas Tho-mas Murray, HI, brother of the bride; Richard Smith, Wheat Ridge, Colo., and Don Brennan of Denver, Colo. The mother of the bride wore a blue silk sheath accented with pearl jewelry. The mother of the bridegroom selected a green silk sheath. Both 'vcrc crchid corsages. After a honeymoon the newly-weds newly-weds plan to make their home at 1351 Jackson St, Denver, Colo. ' |
