Show Troop 341 Dominates District Court Of Honor Sunday At the last Boy Scout Court of Honor held In the First-Second Ward chapel Jan. 27 the First Ward Troop No. 341 led the other troops in the Brian Head District Dis-trict both In the number of awards received and in its record rec-ord of attendance and activity and were judged the high point winners for the event. Boy Scouts from the Summit " f- from attending the honor court by the bad automobile accident which happened that evening on the highway between Parowan and Summit, closing that road for almost an hour. Advancements and merit badges badg-es awarded during the evening were as follows: Troop 341, First Ward Craig Stubbs, Star award and merit badge; Royden Orton, Star award; Michael Hulet, Star award and merit badges; Chaun-cey Chaun-cey Adams, Star award and merit badges, and Randy Smith merit badge. Troop 3-11, First Ward: Craig mon Banks, merit badges; Kim Evans and E. Adams. Second class badges. Troop 313, Third Ward: Jud Hendrickson and Lloyd Stubbs, merit badges, and Jodie Simklns, Second Class badge. The court of honor was conducted con-ducted by District Chairman S. M. Clark and Scouts of Troou 3-1 1 conducted the opening and closing exercises. It was announced an-nounced that the next court of honor will be held in the Summit Sum-mit Ward chapel Sunday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 p. m. |
