Show Earlene Clyde, Myna Hoyt Tops Bowlers for Week The Strikette league of the Cedar City Women's Bowling Assn. came up with the top scores of the week when Earlene Clyde posted a 5-17 series and a 232 single game by Myna Hoyt Top scores in each league were Thursday Morning Scratch: High game was a 206 by Donna Cooley and Maude Strate had the top series, a 516. In the team divi-s.on, divi-s.on, Team 1, composed of Maude Strate, Dee Larson and Itha Lindsay, Lind-say, had a 1424 for high series. A d33 game by Team 5 composed of Donna Cooley, Marian Rosenborg Rosen-borg and Iva Bringhurst, was the top effort. Alley Katts: Sara Mitchell's 193 game was the top single game and a 521 by Marie Mem-mot Mem-mot was the top series. Kolob Sheet Metal had the high team effort with a 807 game and a 2321 series. Strlkettes: A fine 212 game by Leonia Miller was the top game followed by a 201 by Karen Alger. Mrs. Miller also posted the top series with a 530. In the team department de-partment Winter Wonders had a 732 game for the best effort and Arctic Circle posted the top series ser-ies a 2202. Queen Pins: Mortheast Furniture Furni-ture had the top team series with a 1690, but Southern Utah Dairy had the high game, a 582. Elaine Averctt -swept the individual honors with a 199 game and a 496 series. Cedar Belles League: In addition addi-tion to the top effort of Mrs. Hoyt and Mrs. Clyde, some other top scores were recorded. Mrs". C!yde had the second high game, a 210 followed by Rosie Graff with a 190. Mrs. Hoyt was also second high in series with a 544 and Colleen Nelson had a 512 Jac!'son Clecners had the high team series, a 2372, followed by R. C. Cola with a 2299 and Mul-ett Mul-ett Jewelry with a 2095. High team game was a 834 by R. C. Cola followed by Jackson with a 822 effort. |
