Show 1 Prominent Pair Wed In Salt Lake Temple Ceremony Frank L. Cooley and Miss Donna Don-na Beck, prominent Cedar. City residents, exchanged marriage vows in a Salt Lake Temple ceremony Tuesday, Aug. 12, and have been honeymooning since in the Pacific Northwest. Upon their return they will make their home in Cedar City. The marriage ceremony was performed by Apostle Mark E. Peterson, in the presence of members mem-bers of the two families. Following Follow-ing the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Cooley were honored at a wedding wed-ding dinner at the roof garden of Hotel Utah before their departure on their honeymoon trip. Present at the dinner were members of the immediate families, includ'. ing the parents of both the bride and groom, and brothers and sisters sis-ters of both. The bride, who has been a teacher in the Cedar City ele mentary schools during the past several years, is a daughter of I Mr. and Mrs. Newman Beck of Centerfield, Utah. Before accepting accept-ing her teaching assignment here she received her degree from the Brigham Young university at Provo. The groom, a graduate of the Branch Agricultural collepe and a veteran of World War II, is a prominent local building contractor, con-tractor, having been engaged in the contracting business since returning re-turning from military service. |
