Show Club Notes Mrs. Ralph Box Mrs. Conway Parry entertained the members of her club at a bridge luncheon at her home Monday evening. Special guests for the occasion wore Mrs. Patrick Pat-rick Fenton, Mrs. Winston Seeg-miller, Seeg-miller, Mrs. Twain Tippetts and Mrs. Evan Dobson. Score prizes were awarded to Mrs. Tippetts and Mrs. John Rowberry. Mrs. Murray Butler was host- j ess Wednesday evening to the members of Club Tyro at a bridge luncheon at her home. Guests present were Mrs. June Young, Mrs. Odrian Bunting, Mrs. William Kennedy, Mrs. Glen R. White, Mrs. Virgil Bird, Mrs. Norman Heaton and Mrs. Harold Wycoff. The score prize was awarded to Mrs. White. Mrs. Clifford Halsey was hostess host-ess to the members of her club Thursday evening at her home. Ten ladies enjoyed a luncheon and social. The Twinklers club members met recently at the home of Mrs. Henry Scholzen at Hurricane for their social of the month. The ladies enjoyed a tasty variety of foods and a pleasant trip to complete com-plete the evening. Eastern Star members and their families will hold their annual an-nual Robert Morris Day outing with a "covered dish" dinner at the Five Mile recreation camp in Parowan canyon Sunday, Aug. 24. Activities will begin at 2 p.m. Mrs. Richard Morris entertained enter-tained the members of her club Thursday evening at her home at a bridge luncheon.. Mrs. Glade Stephenson was a special guest to the club. Prizes were awarded award-ed to Mrs. Stephenson and Mrs. Carl Croft. The Franklin Lodge No. 27 F&AM met Tuesday evening at the Masonic temple for a special meeting to confer degree work. Following the meeting a luncheon lunch-eon was served to the lodge members and guests by Albert Geiger, Dan Gillies and Howard Mace. The members of the Wednesday Wednes-day club were the guests of Mrs. Burns Sherratt at a bridge luncheon lunch-eon last week. The guest list included in-cluded Mrs. J. L. Fakler, Mrs. Sam Gentry, Mrs. Jack Pace, Mrs. Sam Heyborne, Mrs. Antone Cox, Mrs. Lawrence Lowder, Mrs. Devon De-von Green, Mrs. Fallas Olofson, Mrs. Chauncey Macfarlane, Mrs. Clyde Higbee and Mrs. Hugh Cheever. Bridge prizes were awarded to Mrs. Olofson, Mrs. Cheever and Mrs. Lowder. A traveling prize went to Mrs. Green. |
