Show Improvements Made In Parowan-Panguitch Parowan-Panguitch Lake Road That the road of the mountain between Parowan and Panguitch lake has been improved somewhat some-what is attested to by the fact that several carloads of fishermen fisher-men have reported returning from the popular fishing resort over the road. They state that it is quite rough and steep, but fit for travel at least coming home. We have heard no reports of anyone going over the road from this side although some may have done so. This road over the old route traveled for many years if it were put in good shape would shorten the distance from Parowan Paro-wan to Panguitch lake by almost one-third and would be an even greater advantage to local live-stockmen live-stockmen who own much of the land reaching down from the top of the mountain to the lake, and who now travel over the second left hand road or similar routes to the lake then back up to their ranch holdings. The county has done some work on this road during the past year to make It passible. |
