Show Cedar City Firemen Answer Two Fire Calls Tuesday The Cedar City fire department was called out Tuesday forenoon to combat two separate fires, with one resulting in minor damage dam-age and the other destroying a home at the Indian village north of the city. The first fire was in an apartment apart-ment in the home of Burrus Barton Bar-ton at 195 North 500 West, and resulted in the destruction of some children's clothing. The apartment is occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Dono Webster, whose small son apparently playing with matches in a clothes closet. Fire did not spread and only the clothing was burned. The second fire started near noon. It apparently started in a rear room of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rice, and before it could be brought under control con-trol had completely destroyed the interior of the home, and most of the roof. The cause of the fire was undetermined. |
