Show Funeral Services Held in Provo For Lloyd Walker Funeral services were held in Provo Wednesday afternoon for Lloyd Walker, 41, former Cedar City resident, who lost his life in an automobile accident Saturday evening, Aug. 2. The services were conducted in the Grand-view Grand-view Second ward by Eishop Floyd B. Weeds, and burial was in the Provo city cemetery. Mr. Walker was born in Cedar City on Aug. 18, 1910, a son of William Valentine and Janet Fife Walker, and had resided here until a few years ago when he accepted employment in Provo. He had worked Tor the Union Pacific Railroad company in Provo Pro-vo until the beginning of the recent steel strike, when he transferred to the Tooele Ordnance Ord-nance depot to work during the strike. He was enroute to his home in Provo from Tooele after work Saturday when the accident acci-dent happened. He was reported to be driving alone and took a short-cut road on which construction construc-tion had been done during the day. He lost control of his car in loose gravel piled on the road, and the car rolled over three times. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Army for five years. He married Verna Ruth Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, June 30, 1950, in Provo. Survivors include his widow, a dauhgter, Gail Walker; three stepdaughters, Dereen, Judith and Pauliette Thompson, all of Provo; a brother, W.
