Show Literary Club Ladies Hold Opening Social The Parowan Literary Club held Its opening social of the season at the home of Mrs. Ida King on Wednesday evening. At this meeting the program for the year was presented by the program pro-gram committee consisting of Mrs. King, Mrs. Zona Topham and Mrs. Nell Bentley. These ladies', with Mrs. Golda Guymon, Mrs. Alice Barton and Mrs. Hul-dah Hul-dah Hulet were hostesses for the evening. Officers of the club for the 1955-56 season are: Mrs. Ruth Boardman, president; Mrs. Mar-iam Mar-iam P. Lister, vice president; Mrs. Edna Brown, secretary and treasurer treas-urer and Mrs. Fae Benson, parliamentarian. par-liamentarian. The club meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The dub has been making a a gift of books to the Iron County Coun-ty Rest home and, also presenting present-ing programs there as a project during the past year as a welfare wel-fare and social project. Miss Helen Stones of Paragon-ah Paragon-ah was admitted as a new member mem-ber on Wednesday evening. i V |
