Show Rams Seek Victory In Game Vith Beaver Eleven After taking defeats at the hands of the Dixie Flyers and Cedar Redmen during the past two weeks, the Parowan High School football team journeys to Beaver for a game with the Beavers Bea-vers on Friday afternoon. This is the final game away from home and Coach Dick Jones says the boys are ready to give everything every-thing they've got to break into the win column. The local school got a bad deal in the schedule making this year, having to pjay the two strongest strong-est teams away from home and also their third game away from home before getting onto the home field, and are hoping for better things in the next three encounters. Following the Beaver game all schools in the division get a bye in league play next week because of the U E A convention. conven-tion. The Rams return to the home field for their next two games after the layoff. They pJay Hurricane here on Thursday, Oct. 20 and Milford here on Friday, Oct. 28 with kickoff time set for 3 p. m. The Rams go into the game at Beaver minus Kent Whitney, big veteran lineman, who has had to withdraw from all athletic ath-letic activity because of a knee injury. We understand that the rest of the squad Is in good shape and ready to go. |
