Show Young Couple United In Temple Ceremony Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Shirley Jolley, daughter or Mr. and Mrs. Lay ton T. Jolley of Tropic, and Blaine W. Betenson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland S. Betenson of Cedar City. The marriage ceremony cere-mony was pertormed in the St. George L D S temple on Friday, October 8. The young couple were honored honor-ed at a reception at the Betenson home Saturday evening. Assisting Assist-ing Mr. and Mrs. Betenson and Mr. and Mrs. Jolley were Mrs. Lehi VV. Jones, Mrs. Wm. II. Manning Man-ning and Mrs. Francis W. Betenson. Beten-son. Miss Virginia Esplin was in charge of the gift room, and Miss Fae Reeves in charge of the reception re-ception book. Music was furnished furnish-ed by Herschell Neeley and Mrs. Bernella Jones. The bride was lovely in a brocaded satin gown and carried a bouquet of pink and white gladioli. Brides maids were the Misses Erna and Erma Bybee of Tropic, close friends of the bride. Douglas Grimshaw was best man. The bride Is a graduate of the Tropic high school, and was employed em-ployed at the Bryce canyon lodge during the past summer where she met Mr. Betenson. After graduating from the Cedar Ce-dar City high school Mr. Betenson Beten-son spent 18 months In military service, and Is now registered at the Branch Agricultural college, where he will continue his studies. |
