CcddiCityVdx Hcrollctumcdlk The body of another local man who gave his lite in the service of his country during World War II was buried in the Cedar City cemetery Sunday, when graveside grave-side services were conducted for LaMar Lambeth, son of Frank Lambeth of Cedar City. Lambeth was killed In action on June 22, 1944, during the bat-tie bat-tie for Salpan, after having gone through the entire Marshal Island Is-land campaign. The services Sunday were conducted con-ducted by Bishop's Counsellor IL Marvin Jones, and Charles R. Hunter was the speaker. Myles Walker and Ray Cosslett sang a duet "Whispering Hope". The dedicatory prayer wa9 by Bishop Adams Seegmlller, and a flag was presented to Mr. Lam-beth Lam-beth In behalf of the American Legion by James Hoyle, Jr., Post Commander. |
