Show Catholics to Have Christmas Midnight Mass The local Catholic Church of Christ the King will celebrate Christmas in the traditional manner with midnight Mass celebrated by the pastor, Father Le May. The music for the Mass will be Theo Von La Hachc's "Mass of St. Teresa" with the traditional "Adeste Fldeles" for the Offertory and "Venl Jesu" for the Communion. A group of Christmas, carols will be sung before the Mass by the choir which is composed of Reed W. Roberts, first tenor; Bernard F. Qulnn, second tenor; Lindsay 3. Anderson, baritone, and Leonard Berg, bass. Mrs. Beth Leigh will accompany on the organ. The midnight Mass will be followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament As always, anyone is welcome to attend the midnight Mass, the only requisite being that non-Catholic non-Catholic women must wort a hat or some head-covering. There will be a low Mass also at Cedar City at 10:00 a. m. and there will also be a Mass In St. George at 7:30 a. m. at the Presbyterian Mission. |
