Show Marriage Announced Of interest to her many friends Is the marriage of Miss Marie Baldwin, Bald-win, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Ber-nard Baldwin, to Le Lan Gordon, son of Mrs. Romania Gordon of Orem, Utah. The marriage ceremony was performed per-formed Saturday, March 27 at 6:30 p. m. by President David L. Sargent Sar-gent at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Baldwin, 177 North 10th W. The bride was lovely in a white satin gown. Her fingertip veil was edged with lace and fell from a tiarra of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of white gardenias and red roses. She wps attended by Mrs. Connie Baldwin as matron of honor who wore a gown of pink taffeta, and Zola Lister, bridesmaid, brides-maid, who wore a gown of blue net. Both carried bouquets of Jonquils. Melvln Baldwin, twin brother of the bride acted as best man. Following the wedding the young couple were given a reception by the' parents of the bride. Miss Mivrgle Jones, Miss Iris Spenctr and Miss DoroKiy Secrist were In charge of the gift rooms, Mrs. Shirley Kennicott took charge of the bride's book. Mrs. Alice Batt sister of the bride, and Mrs. Glennls Orton, presided at the tea table, assisted by Miss Mary Short and Miss Betty Worthen. Also assisting wibh the refreshments were Mrs. I Althea Brown and Mrs. Gertrude Barton. Many out of town guests from Salt Lake City. Orem, Provo, Beaver Bea-ver and Paragonah were present Following a honeymoon trip to southern California, the young couple cou-ple will make their home in Provo Utah. |
