Show Surrounding Schools Enjoy B.A.C. Talents Featuring musical and dramatic talent of all kinds, a series of programs pro-grams from the B. A. C. music department de-partment have been sent to surrounding sur-rounding high schools and communities com-munities of southern Utah. .Variety programs, featuring vocal and Instrumental talent were given before the students of Milford, Beaver, Bea-ver, Parowan, Hurricane, Kanab and Valley high schools. These programs were under the direction of Professors William H. Manning and Roy L. Halverson. A dramatic program under the direction of Professor Twain Tlp-petts Tlp-petts toured high schools at Delta Hinckley and Fillmore. .In these programs, a dramatization of "Life on in campus was given. Beginning March 22 another series ser-ies of tours left. The "Chapel Singers", Sing-ers", the male chorus, and principals princi-pals from the recent production of the opera "Rlgoletto" made up another an-other traveling troupe. Thfy went to Tropic, Pangultch, Marysvale, Ctrclevllle, Wayne high school, the South Sevier high school and North Sevier at Sallna. Emron Jensen was featured In "Ballad for Americans". Scenes from the opera were also given giv-en by the principal characters. Later In the season, a series of programs Is planned for the southern south-ern section of Nevada Including Moapa, Bunkervllle, Lincoln county coun-ty and Las Vegas. |
