Show License Plates Go On Sale Here January 2 Allan Rogers, director of the State tax commission's motor vehicle division, div-ision, announces that motor vehicle ve-hicle license plates will go on sale at the Cedar City Branch office of-fice on Friday, January 2. When the automobile owner calls at the Branch office to get his, plates he should have hU 1947 vehicle ve-hicle registration certificate, and an automobile tax receipt from the county assessor's office. He must then fill out the 1948 application for plates and pay the $5.00 fee. Starting with the number 1000, the plates, black ed white, will graduate upwards numerically, so four digits always appear. |
