Show Work On Chamber's ' Advertising Booklet Progressing Rapidly Work on a 32-page advertising booklet to be published by the Chamber of Commerce is progressing progress-ing rapidly, with a tentative out line of material already completed. The booklet, to feature drawings of Interesting spots of Cedar City will, be done by Roger Blythe of Tucson, Tuc-son, Arizona, who has contracted to produce the book. A committee composed of Bar nard Qulnn, Homer Jones, Joe Fak-ler Fak-ler and Orvllle Isom, has been working with Mr. Blythe the past week to outline the material for the book. This group will work closely with the artist until the Job is completed. com-pleted. Other committee members may be appointed as the need arises. A total of ten thousand books will be published, to be delivered In April or May. before the 1948 tourist tour-ist wnnn oDens. The book will Include a panoramic panoram-ic view of the city, and a map of the national park area, showing Cedar City as the center of this great playground of the West. It will also feature churches, schools, public buildings, historical spots, etc. together with outstanding scenes of the parks of the area. The 36-pages will give the historical background of the city, and a resume of all the city has to offer In a commercial, educational and cultural way. |
