Show NEW HARMONY Mrs. Rhoda B. Prince is in the Iron County hospital where she was taken on Tuesday of last week. She is suffering from a gall bladder ailment, but is reported re-ported to be improving. Miss Margurette Nellson of Lund has returned to her home after spending the past week here visiting with her parents Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Neilson. Donald Merritt, son of Mrs. Reed Prisby, has returned to San Diego, Califorrla, after a ten day leave from the Navy. All of our students have returned re-turned home from their schools after being away all winter to Cedar City and St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Antone Farns-worth Farns-worth of St. George were Friday Fri-day visitors at the home of Mrs. Foremaster's father, Orson Hammond. Mr. and Mrs. James Hall of St. George were week end visitors vis-itors with Mr. Hall's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E. VV. Hall. We have a few cases of measles in our town at the present. pre-sent. Mr. and Mrs. Ashbv Pace and Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Pace attended at-tended the high school graduation gradua-tion Exercises at Cedar City on Thursday, May 20. Boyd and Gordon Pace were graduates. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Schmutz attended the graduation exercises exer-cises at Cedar Thursday, their daughter Pearl being a member mem-ber of the graduates. They also attended the exercises at the B. A. C. Friday morning, where their son Wm. Eldon received his diploma. Andrew Schmutz. Mrs. Mason Rancher, and Mrs. Bert Grant, attended the graduation exercises exer-cises for the high school and college at St. George Friday, where Charles Schmutz, Rodney Grant and Mary Rene Rancher were high school graduates. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Nyberg and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Nyberg of Ely, Nevada, were here visiting visit-ing the C. M. Englestead home Friday, having come to attend the graduation of their son and brother, Richard E. Nyberg, and his wife, the former Lucile Englestead, En-glestead, at the Dixie College. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Englestead Engle-stead attended the graduation of their daughter Thelma from the B. A. C. Friday morning, and also their daughter Lucile and her husband Richard Nyberg at Dixie College in St. George Friday Fri-day evening. |
