Show Cedar Man's Father Dies in Orderville Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in Orderville Monday for Kustas Joslah Chamberlain, 61, father of Charles Chamberlain of Cedar City. Mr. Chamberlain died at his home in St. George on Tuesday, May 20, of a heart ailment. He vas born on December 6, 1868, at Factory ranch in Kane county a son of Thomas and Eli-nore Eli-nore Hoyt Chamberlain. He moved with his family to Kanab where he lived until his married mar-ried Geneva Esplin on June 5, 1910. They lived in Orderville until 1946 when they moved to St. George. Surviving are nine sons and daughters, Lloyd A. Chamberlain, Chamber-lain, Orderville; Miss Florine Chamberlain, Los Angeles; Chas. E. Chamberlain, Cedar City; Mrs. Geneva E. McMahon, Arcadia, California; Mrs. Elinor Tuft, Monroe; Mrs. Lillian Coving-s Coving-s ton, Hurricane; Mrs. Lorna Bruhn and Miss Carroll Chamberlain, Cham-berlain, St. George. Also surviving surviv-ing are fourteen grandchildren, nineteen brothers and fourteen sisters. |
