Show War Assets Will Conduct Bid Sale Salt Lake City All levels of trade may participate June 3 and 4 in a competitive bid sale of a wide mlsoellany of surplus property taken from the five largest war installations in Utah it was announced today by Regional Reg-ional Director John A. Skeen of the War Assets Administration. The sale will be held at the WAA office, 222 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, begin-nlng begin-nlng at 8:30 a. m. on each day. This sale Is part of WAA'a deactivation de-activation program and is designed de-signed to clear surplus materials mater-ials from the WAA warehouse, Salt Lake; Tooele Ordnance Depot, De-pot, Tooele; Naval Supply Depot at Clearfield; Ogden Arsenal and the Utah Central Depot, Ogden, Og-den, at which points the property may be inspected May 27 thru June 2. The sale Is expected to and the Utah Central Depot, Og-the Og-the War Assets Administration during which surplus property costing more than $721,000,000 located at Utah installations will have been sold. Principal items scheduled for disposal in this deactivation offering of-fering are general hardware, metal me-tal working equipment, machine tools, generators and motors, laundry equipment and supplies, office equipment, textile products, pro-ducts, drugs, hospital and surgical surgi-cal supplies, calipers, turnbuck-les, turnbuck-les, plumbing and heating fixtures, fix-tures, electrical supplies, miscellaneous miscel-laneous machinery, warehouse handling equipment, chemical and paint products, tentage, wire rope and miscellaneous gene-al gene-al products. |
