Show Ladies Auxiliary Formed for Local Fire Unit A ladies auxiliary to the Cedar Ce-dar Volunteer Fire department was named Wednesday evening when members of the department depart-ment and their wives held a Christmas party in the recreat-tion recreat-tion room of the new firehouse. Newly elected officers of the auxiliary are Mrs. Lulu Scott, president; Mrs. Audrey Bryan, vice president, Mrs. Floris Taylor, secretary and treasurer; Mrs. Ella Holyoak, two-year board director, di-rector, and Mrs. Mary Goddard and Mrs. Clara Green, one-year directors. A buffet luncheon was served during the evening and Christ, mas carols were sung. Problems for the coming year were discussed briefly at the meeting, including the State Firemen's Convention to be held in Cedar City during August of 1950, and the setting of the regular reg-ular date for the annual Firemen's Fire-men's Ball. The public is being urged to support the Benefit ball which is set for Monday, December 26. Modern and old-time dancing will be featured, and there will be a floor show.
