Show NEWCASTLE A food sale and. dance was given Saturday night by the M. I. A. for the purpose of raising funds to apply on a new piano for the church. A very enjoyable and profitable time was reported. The first meeting of the local reservoir committee was held here Saturday. Every member was present, including Kumen S. Gardner, A. C. Christensen, Leo Knell, Albert Harrison, Gordon Knell, C. E. Hart, and Richard F. Jones. Eric Gardner of Cedar City spent one day last week-end visiting with his grandparents here. Mrs. Golda P. Smith and son , Don of Farmington spent several days here visiting with her sister, Mrs. Amy Knell, and other relatives rela-tives and friends. About 8 inches of snow fell here Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Hulet are the parents of a baby girl born at the Iron county hospital last week. |
