Show Junior Chamber Pushes Fly Campaign With the c:ming of spring our fly menace begins, unless each citizen cit-izen of our city does his part to remove the fly breeding areas from hi? premises. The City Health Department and the Jr. Chamber of Commerce Fly control committee urges everyone to clean up those places of filth now before the flies have time to lay their eggs. The fy control committee stands ready with equipment equip-ment and D.D.T. to spray each and every corral in the city. Plans for the campaign are as follows: 1. Maps of the five wards of Cedar Ce-dar have been made and every corral, outdoor privy, etc. in the city have been shown on these maps. 2. As property owners clean up their fly breeding places they are to call Frank Milne to arrange to have his committee spray such :laces with D.D.T. 3. Proper checking will take place on those premises whose owners do not report and steps will be taken, by the City Board of Health fo see that everyone cleans up and takes advantage of the D.D.T. cpraylng. Only by cooperative effort can 3edar City rid Itself of the fly menace and Insure the health of ts citizens. |
