Show V. F. W. Post Installs Officers At Meeting Haldow E. Chrtsteivcn, veteran of two world wars, who was promoted to the rank of Lt. Col. previous to his recent discharge from the Army was installed as Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Juniper Port No. 3510 at a membership meeting he'd April 1. Other officers, offi-cers, Installed Include W. S. "Dub" Leigh, Senior Vice Commander, E. W. "Eldle" Lampman, Junior Vice Commander, Harold Sargent, Quartermaster Quar-termaster and Frank J. Dalley, as Post Adjutant. Installation ceremonies were performed per-formed by past commander Oliver Jensen. Following the Installation ceremonies, various matters of business bus-iness were discussed. The organization organi-zation pledged its full cooperation to the American Legion in spon-roring spon-roring a benefit dance for veteran Wells Williams, of Kanarra, whose house was ("eftroyrd by fire In early January of this year. An advertising and publicity committee, com-mittee, consisting of Humbert Ros-"nl Ros-"nl erg. Kel;h Hlgbee and Sheldon Olds, was appointed. Milton J. Scvy was appointed representative of the V.F.W. to act on the race track central committee. An Informal "get-acquainted" meeting will be held 0n the night of April 10. at which time all member mem-ber are urged to attend and to brng a ftiest with them.
