Show District Municipal League Convenes Here Wednesday Municipal officials of Beaver, , Iron, and Wa shington counties will gather In Cedar City Wednesday,' April lO'.h. for a District Conven- tlon of the Utah Municipal League. I Three btiness sersions will be held during the day, to which all Interested Inter-ested citizens are lnvltled. A morning morn-ing see ion at 9:3C, and another at 1:00 p. m. will be held In the Es-ralante Es-ralante Hotel ball room, with an evening meeting In the First Ward Chapel, beginning at 8:00 p. m. Pertinent municipal problems will be dlscu sed at the meetings by some of the best informed men of the state in each field. Three vitally important subjects will be dkcussed at the morning -reeling. Opening the discussloru mill be Newell W. Pickett, Chief Sanitarian of the State Board of Health, who will talk on "Sewer . Need in Municipal Corporations ; Ways and Mcan3 of Construction and Improvement." Following Mr. Pickett will be Carl Painter, Secretary-Treasurer, American Society of Civil Engineers wh0 will talk on "Construction and Maintenance of Municipal Waterworks Water-works S;vtfms", and H. C. Jessen, District Engineer, Feueral Works Agency, discussing the subject of "The Federal Works Agency's Advanced Ad-vanced Planning Program For Municipalities." Speak-rc tt the afternoon session ses-sion will be Ray Leavltt, Chairman, Chair-man, State Raad Commission; E. B. Maryon. Administrator, Class B and C Road FunY; Dr. Dllworth Walker. Dc n of School of Business, University of Utah; Joe Bergen, rotate AeronBUlcal Director; and Oerall Tnlre, Legal Consultant, Utah Municipal League.
