Show Race Track Control Board Appointed The final detail of organization for the proposed new Cedar City Race Track, was completed during the week, when the interested civic grtups, with approval of the City administration, named a permanent perman-ent Race Control Board, and chargel the group with the re-' sponslblllty of planning of the1 tr;ck and facilities, and of general control of policy and operation. The eight-man board will be a permanent organization, with the original members named for varying vary-ing terms, In order that two new members may be appointed each year. ' Douglas Clark appointed for a four year term, will act as chairman chair-man of the Board, with the following fol-lowing committee members: Richard Leigh, and F. H. Middleton, one year; Kuman Jones and Parson U. Webster, two years; C. B. Cooley and John Beal, three years, and Morris Robert3, four years. . , The site for the track had been previously selected, and the new Board will now develop a master track plan" and proceed with con-, structlon work at the earliest possible pos-sible moment. ' The Board will also arrange for financing the program, and will be ' respoiylble for the operation of the track in a manner that will be a credit to the community, and determine de-termine all matters of policy, operation, op-eration, maintenance and develop-' ment. |
