Show SOUNDS NOTE OF WARNING TO IRON COUNTY HORSEMEN Enterprise, Utah, March 8, 1916. Editor Iron County Record, Cedar City, Utah. A friend of mine told me yesterday that a certain party who lives in your neighborhood had recently re-cently sold a brown Btallion to parties par-ties in Harmony or Kanarraville, representing rep-resenting that the horso was ono which wo had owned and disposed of, and was of pure Percheron breeding. If such sale has been made, I wish to put the purchaser and the public who might be led to patronize the said horse, right on tho matter. There is not a horse (a stallion) In the southern part of tho Btato that ever has been owned on or sold from the Ivins farm. Wo sold a pure bred gray Percheron stallion to parties in Kanab last summer, but they had the misfortune to Iobo him soon after getting him home. This is excepting, of course, the horses nt present doing duty on our farm at Enterprise. If such sale was made under those representations it was clearly fraudulent fraud-ulent and the parties thereto should be handled. If you publish this letter It may be the means of correcting this imposition imposi-tion on the people of that neighborhood. neighbor-hood. I am, very truly yours, ANTOINE R. IVINS. |
