Show ENOCH NOTES. Enoch, Utah, March 9, 1910. The weather is beautiful now, and the farmers are all busy once more. Bp. Chas. E. Jones Is having a nice, roomy sleeping porch added to his home. s Mrs. John Davenport of Parowan is here visiting with her parents, Mr. nnd Mrs. John Lee Jones. t The stork called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Murio last Friday, leaving them a fine baby boy. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Jones left today for their homo at Enterprise, after visiting here with relatives and friends for a few days. W. II. Grimshaw is making a tour through Beaver county In the interests inter-ests of the Singer sewing-machine, for which he is district agent. Quite a quantity of strychnine has bee set out this winter, and it is to be hoped that the farmers will bo more sucessful with their crops,-tHis coming season. Word has been received here that Elder Henry M. Jones, who has been laboring in the Southern States min-siori'for min-siori'for nlmost two and a half years, has been honorably released, and will be homo in the very near future. Last Monday evening the W. A. S. F. W's entertained the C. C's, in honor hon-or of the former club's president. A oily crowd was present, and report laving had "tho best time ever." A series of card games were indulged ia Ice cream and dainty peanut wafers were served, and it was with feelingi. of reluctance that tho young people wended their way homeward at u late hour, feeling that the time had been all too short. |
