Show BRANCH A. C. NOTES. Friday night tho B. A. C. debating team mot tho Murdock Academy on tho question, "Resolved, That the United States Should Substantially Incrcaso Her Armament" The debate de-bate was won by the B. A. C. team. Wo also debated with St. George but were defeated. There is a tie botween the B. A. C, Murdock and St. George teams. Tho Sophomore ClasB dance Friday night was a grand success. The auditorium audi-torium was decorated in white Easter Lilies as a symbol of Easter. Every one enjoyed it. During Mrs. Widtsoe's visit at tho B. A .C. she suggested that the girls of tho institution should petition for a ladies' rest room, and a more efficient effic-ient gymanslum equipment. Tho girls held a meeting to discuss the question ques-tion and all weie highly in favor of tho suggestion. A committee was chosen to talk the matter over with Principal Homer and see what arrangements ar-rangements could bo made. The B. A. C. track is now in splen-did splen-did condition and the B. A. C. track team are now training in full earnest. The track meet will be held about the latter part of April or tho first of May. The Sophs aro busily engaged in selecting se-lecting materials for their edition of tho Student for April. We expect something very unusual and the report re-port is that some of tho most clever cartoons have been handed in by some of the Sophs' cartoonists, Tho D. D. and B. B. clubs guvo a party Saturday night in tho B. A, C. Auditorium. Each member of tho club was requestor to invito ono per son. Tho names of tho boys were put in a box and the girls drew for u partner. The boy was supposed to take the girl to the picture show and from there to the B. A. C. After dancing for about two hours all were given place cards with a number on; the number signified that you should havo another partner for the supper. A very dainty lunch was seryed and the remainder of the evening was spent in playing games and dancing. But perhaps the most peculiar part was that you had n new purtnqr to escort you home. All enjoyed themselves them-selves and felt that it was ono of the best times of the season. |
