Show BIG FUNERAL FOR SISTER PROTHERQ Services at Paragonah Last Sunday Attended by Many People from Various Parts of County. Tho funeral services held at Para-goonah Para-goonah last Sunday afternoon over the remains of Sister Lizzie Prothero were attended by a largo concourse of people, both from that place and from other settlements of the county, particularly par-ticularly Parowan and Cedar City. In fact, it is said by somo to have been the largest funeral ever held in Para-goonah. Para-goonah. There were elegant floral offerings of-ferings from relatives residing in Salt Lake City and other distant places, and tho Primary children of tho ward each stepped forward before the commencement com-mencement of tho services and placed a token of their love and esteem upon the casket of tho departed. Tho speakers were Pres. L. N. Mars-den, Mars-den, Elders Richard Lund, Richard Robinson, Wm. P. Barton, Morgan Richards, Thomas Robinson, and William Wil-liam Edwards, all of whom vied with each other in paying tributes to the estimable es-timable character and disposition of tho departed one. A long line of carriages and automobiles auto-mobiles followed tho remains to their last resting place. Tho grave was dedicated by Elder Richard Palmer of Cedar City. Sister Pjothero was truly a kind, lovable woman, and held tho friendship friend-ship and respect of all who knew her, She has gone to a well earned rest. |
