The following list of recommended variotlcs of fruit for Utah has been prepared by the Horticultural department depart-ment of tho Utah Agricultural College, Col-lege, after a most thorough canvass of the state and with tho co-oporntion of tho several county horticultural inspectors. in-spectors. Summer and Fall Apples. Red Astrachan, Yellow Transparent, Transpar-ent, Early Harvest, Red June, Wealthy and Maiden Blush. Winter Apples. Jonathan, Winesnp, Romo Beauty, Gano, R. I. Greening, Arkansas, and Mcintosh. Pears. Bartlett, Flemish, Lawrence, Winter Ncllis and Anjou. Peaches. Elberta, Early Crawford, Alexander, Alexan-der, Lato Crawford, Triumph and Orange Or-ange Cling. Sweet Cherries. Napoleon, Black Tartarian, Bing, Lambert and Winsor. Sour Cherries. Montmorency and Knudson. Plums and Prunes. Italian Prune, Green Gage, German Prune, Bradshaw, Alrindanco, Dnni-son Dnni-son and Grant. The list does not includo nil varieties varie-ties that might bo planted with success, suc-cess, but those which experiment and practical experienco havo shown to be desirable by general planting.
