Show DIRECTOR NATIONAL PARKS SEES ZION Horace Maiden Albright, acting director of National Park Service, U. S. Hepartment of the Interior, in company with Douglas White, industrial indus-trial agent of the Salt Lake Rout, were in Cedar City today on their return re-turn from Zion Canyon nitional monument. mon-ument. While this is the first visit of Mr. Albright to the Canyon, and the time given to viewing the canyon was limited to a little less than n day, he returns enthusiastic over the wonderful wonder-ful scenery, and states that the people peo-ple in Washington and the eastern part of the United States haven't the faintest idea of what the monument is like, or they would be crnzy over it. He says that the only drawback is the condition of the road, which is the worst between this place and Lund, and that the people ought to get busy and help get these approaches to the canyon in better condition. |
