Show JESUIT MISSIONS. Fathers Mulconry and McKeogh, Jesuit missionaries, opened a mission, Iow Sunday, in St. Patrick's church, Escanaha, Mich., Rev. J. M. Langan is pastor. They closed a four week's mission. Palm Sunday, in the cathedral. Rrook-lyn, Rrook-lyn, N Y. Here they gave !U09 holy communions, heard 7.3H7 confessions, prepared 156 adult? for confirmation and 74 more adults for first holy communion com-munion Thirty-eight non-Catholics were baptized during the mission. Rt. Rev. Charles K. McDonnell, bishop bish-op of Brooklyn. Rev. Peter Donohoe. rector of the cathedral, and the people of the parish were delighted with the mission and were unstinted in their praise of the good work done for God's honor and glory. Father Shyne. S. J., and Father P. Burke, S. J., helped them out effectively in this great work. |
