Show RAWLINS. . (Special Correspondence.) Rev. Father Conrath left here Monday Mon-day for a month's visit with his people peo-ple in Cincinnati. Father Conrath's health has considerably improved in Rawlins. May he come back to us entirely well. The public schools have already closed. St. Joseph's school will con tinue work, to the great delight of children and parents, until the middle of June. Great preparations are in i progress for the closing exercises, which promise to be brilliant. The attendance at the convent school has been urfusually large, and the Sister Superior, aided by her zealous assistants, assist-ants, is gradually making St. Joseph's school a first class -educational center. cen-ter. ' Mrs. Edward Smyfh is quite ill at her home on East, Front street. Her many friends are earnestly praying for her speedy recovery. The little 5--5ar-old hoy of Mr. and Mrs. Leckey has been in poor health for the past month. The malady, though not serious, is obstinate, and is a source of anxiety to the loving parents. t A few excellent, numbers have al- ready appeared of . a school journal " published by the pupils of St. Joseph's under the able editorship of MifH Jo- ' sephine Phelan.
