Show CHEYENNE, WYO. I j ; 1 Convent of Holy Child Jesus. (Special Correspondence.) The reports for the first month of school were distributed in the convent hall last week. Those securing the first places in their respective classes were as follows: fol-lows: In the elementary department, Inez McFee, Ruth Heenan and Margaret Mar-garet Lang. In the grammar department, depart-ment, Dorothy Bergerson, Hilarlo Flo-rezca, Flo-rezca, Margaret Walsh and Margaret Mulllson. In the high school. Misses Dolores Holmes, Agnes Coyne, Marie Coyne and Ruby Lee. Those who underwent un-derwent musical examination were: Misses Gertrtrude Marks, Ira Murphy, Mildred Keteham, Mary Ellis, Margaret Marga-ret Dineen. Catherine and Margaret Walsh, Maria Klett, Winifred Bresna-han, Bresna-han, Ruth Heenan and Beatrice Carrol Car-rol The recitations given were interesting inter-esting and well recited. "Joan of Act at Rheims," by Mrs. Hemans. was said in a pleasing manner by the Misses Rena Tuhey, Mary Lynch and Georgia Sullivan, all members of the second year high school. In the junior department de-partment "The Cat's Consolation" was spoken by several little girls, and "The Chameleon" were both amusing and entertaining. Many new pupils are now attending the convent school, and the school register re-gister shows an increase of numbers. The church fair is an object of much interest to the Catholic children, and they are working for its success. |
