Show I LEADVILLE, COLO. I l n Miss Josephine Dwyer has returned from Salt Lake City, where she has been visiting friends. Miss Catherine Slavin of East Sixth street has gone to Tonopah to reside. Mrs. Hugh MeCloskey and children have gone to Tonopah to reside permanently. perma-nently. Miss Julia Walsh is expected to return re-turn homethe first of the week from Avon. Daniel Welsh has been seriously ill at his home for the past ten days, and It Is hoped by his many friends that he will soon be able to resume his duties. Mrs. Lizzie O'Keefe, a former resident resi-dent of this city, but lately of Los Angeles, An-geles, Cal., spent two days in this city last week, on her way to New York, where she goes to Join her son. Matt O'Keefe, the well-known humorist and a member of the Dockstader minstrels. Mrs. J. J. Quinn returned yesterday from a three months' visit to Ireland, where she visited with friends and relatives, re-latives, whom she had not seen for many years. She visited many of the points of interest in that historical country, and brought with her souvenirs souve-nirs of her trip. After her return to New York and before returning to her home in Leadville, she also visited at Camden, N. J., and Atlantic City. She says she enjoyed her ocean voyage immensely, im-mensely, and put in a stay on the Emerald Isle that was filled with extreme ex-treme pleasure, but for all of that she was more than glad to get back to America and her home in Leadville. |
