Show j A TALENTED YOUNG IRISHMAN. Jerry Lynch, who, along with T. C. Mc-Grath, R. M. Place. M. L. Watts, T. D. Lingenfelter, Mr. Dillon of Butte and W. J. Eeecher of Livingston, was recently admitted to the nractice of law in Montana, was highly eompli-I eompli-I men ted by one of the judges who wrote "Cum l-aude" on his paper. Mr. Lynch ; carried off many valuable prizes w hen he graduated from the Kent College of ! Law at Chicago. He was born in Here- j , haven, County Cork, Ireland, in 1S71, j where he received hi.3 early education in the National schools. He came to America in LsSO, and worked for some time in the east on the Fall River Navi-i Navi-i gation line. Coming west, Jie was employed em-ployed in the. mines here until Sept. 5, 1S!7, when he matriculated at the Kent ' College of Law, Chicago, and graduated from the same institution on May 20, I 1S:9. Too much credit cannot be given to such persevering energy as this sturdy young Hibernian har? displayed. America in general and Montana needs just such men.
