Pastor is now pleasantly located in a neat- and ! comfortably furnished frame house on i Frazier Lane and conveniently near the little chapel. The Catholics of Florence are fortunate fortu-nate in having so good and zealous a priest to attend to their spiritual and temporal welfare, and under his guidance guid-ance success is already assured. The building of a substantial brick dwelling for Rev. Father Edmund is ! being talked about, and it is reasonable to believe that before many months , have passed decisive steps will be ta-j ta-j ken in order .to erect the same. Miss Stearns, who has been visiting 1 at the home of Mr. J. It. Jansen, her j brother-in-law, since the holidays, re-! re-! turns to Denver on Saturday. I Mr. John McDonald and family-have made their home in Florence, having moved from Pueblo. On New Year's day a little baby boy came to bless the home of Mr. J. H. Jansen. The dynamo t nd engine placed in the refinery of the Western Oil company is giving great satisfaction, and adds to the efficiency of this already extensive exten-sive plant. The attendance at church services is becoming better, owing, no doubt, to the fact that the Holy Sacrifice Sac-rifice is offered every Sunday, accompanied accom-panied with beautiful and touching discourses dis-courses by the Rev. Pastor. |
