Show Petrified Petroleum. Anton V. Hassman of Elkhart, Ind., inventor of "chemi-coal," "lava-foam," "artificial wood" and "art marble," has added one more invention to" his lpng list, which he is firmly convinced is to become of great value and prove to be a conservator of the fuel resources of this and other countries. The new invention in-vention is called "petrified petroleum," and is made from liquid petroleum. It is claimed that it will solve the fuel and smoke problem; that it costs less, is cleaner than coal, has no odor, and produces pro-duces three times the heat that coal does, ignites readily, but not spontaneously, spontane-ously, will not melt, is not affected by water, does not deteriorate, .and burns with a clean, bright and long flame. |
