The decorations were all appropriate to Washington's birthday, birth-day, while a miniature cherry tree formed the attractive centerpiece of the luncheon table. The favors were tiny baskets of cherries. Mrs. Leo Griebling of the Cathedral parish has recovered from a very severe illness. Miss Genevieve Doyle celebrated St. Valentine's day by entertaining six of her girl friends at a dainty luncheon, followed by a box party at the Tabor. Mr. and Mrs. William H. Andrew entertained en-tertained at dinner Sunday evening at their home, 1316 Columbus street. The affair was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hulings, who will make tneir home in Denver. Mrs. Hulings was formerly Miss Florence Andrews, and after her marriage last summer went to Mexico to reside, but was forced to leave that country, as the climate proved injurious to her health. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Hynes and family have moved to 633 West Fourteenth' avenue. Miss Margaret Lynch is enjoying a visit to New York City. William J. Kelly, president of the National Na-tional Association of Letter Carriers, was one of Denver's visitors during the week. From here he went to Colorado Springs, where the letter carriers hope some day to establish their national sanitarium. san-itarium. Mr. Kelly will tour the Pacific coast before returning to his home in Brooklyn, N. Y. Mr. and Mrs. William J, Davidson of 3731 Raleigh street are the proud parents of a son, born on Sunday, February 13. Father Thomas Wolihan, recently appointed ap-pointed pastor of St Ignatius' church at Pueblo, was a Denver visitor last week. Father Servant of Aspen was in Denver Den-ver on Monday. . Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Brown have given up their home and moved to the Auditorium hotel. Mrs. Brown leaves shortly for Washington to spend the spring and early summer. |
