Show PARK CITY. Tribute to Late Josie "Wilson From a Eriend. On March 24, 1!02. at S:35 a. m., death visited the home of Mrs, W. H. Wilson and took to a loving Father's care the pure soul of Mary Josephine Wilson. A brief life of seventeen years was hers, yet one sanctified by sufferings suffer-ings patiently borne. An invalid from her birth, she had been both the care and the comfort of her mother and Immpdinh, .. it-,, 1 . - "" "icuuj. 1 Kfl LUC JJitbL tOUr months she suffered untold agonies, never complaining, and to the very last thoughtful for others. Death came as a blessed release and left to her sorrowing sor-rowing mother, brother and sisters the comfort that resignation to his holy will brings. A very large number of friends testified testi-fied to their esteem for the family by attending the funeral services held in St., Mary's rhurch, Park City, and accompanying ac-companying the remains to Salt Lake City, where interment took place In the family lot at Mt Olivet. MRS. C C . John Gallighan, who has been attending at-tending school in Salt Lake, spent Easter Eas-ter with his mother. Mrs. James Farrell came up from Salt Lake last week on a visit to her son, Alex Farrel, of this city. Mrs. Joe James of Butte, Mont., who has been visiting with Mrs, Ike McKay, Mc-Kay, returned last week to her home. John Brennan of All Hallows college is visiting with Mr. and Mrs. John Hays of this city. - John A. Malia, clerk of the Silver King, spent the greater part of last week in Salt T.alro Mr. P. H. Tallon came up to Park City Saturday on a visit for a few days. The marriage oTrSr". W. D. Donoher and Miss Edith Parker was a surprise to their many friends. Both the doctor ! and his bride are well and favorably i known in Salt Lake and Park City, and hearty congratulations are being I showered upon them. They are "at home" for the present with Mr. and . Mrs. W. W. Armstrong. I . Miss Susie Shields left Tuesday for a visit with friends and relatives in Salt I Lake. John Galligher who is attending school in Salt Lake, spent Easter with his mother in the Park. Mrs. H. Fares went to Salt Lake for a visit of a few days. Miss Esetella Watson, accompanied by Miss Goodrich, went to Salt Lake Friday, where they will spend the spring vacation. The schools closed Friday for a week's spring vacation. . The Easter ball eiven bv Pmfoc.r... H. B. Toung was largely attended, and was a very enjoyable affair. The services at St. Mary's church on Easter Sunday were conducted by Rev. Father Galligan, High mass was celebrated cele-brated at 10 a. m. At this mass Rev-Father Rev-Father GalHgan delivered an impressive impres-sive sermon on the "Glorious Resurrection Resurrec-tion of Christ and the Foundation of Christianity." The church was beautifully beau-tifully decorated with ferns, carnations and Easter lilies. The music, under the direction of Miss Malone. is worthy of highest praise. a. D |
