Show j VIRGINIA CITY, NEV. Mrs. John Milligan left Monday to visit at Schurz. Johnny Cavanaugh was a departure for Reno Tuesday evening. Joe Kenny returned from Reno Monday. Mon-day. The funeral of the late James Conway Con-way took place yesterday from St. Patrick's Pat-rick's church in Gold Hill and the body was escorted to the cemetery in this city by a large delegation from the Storey Sto-rey County Labor Union and Liberty Engine company, while a long line of carriages followed the hearse. Several floral pieces arrived on the express train. The death occurred in San Francisco on June 30 of Mary Jane, beloved wife of the late James O. McGinnis, moth-erof moth-erof Sarah, Thomas and Hugh J. McGinnis, Mc-Ginnis, Mrs. Mary Rurmann and Mrs. Louis A. Imhaus. She was a native of Dublin, Ireland, aged 86 years. W. J. Sinclair and Miss Kate Kelly, formerly of Gold Hill, were married at Tonopah Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock and after a wedding breakfast left for a three weeks' honeymoon at Lake Tahoe. Miss Margaret Griffin was maid of honor, while James Kelly, the bride's brother, acted as best man. |
