Show BUTTE, MONT. ( The feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus occurred Friday, June 26, and high mass was celebrated at S:30 o'clock that morning by Rev. Father De Siere at St. Patrick's church. The mass was followed by the benediction of the blessed sacrament. During the services the promoters and members of the league received holy communion. The altars were beautifully adorned with flowers and green boughs, the decorations dec-orations being done under the supervision super-vision of Mrs. A. P. Pohndorf. The league has 2,000 members, and is flourishing. flour-ishing. The officers are: Director, Rev. Father Follet; president. Elena C. McDonald; Mc-Donald; vice president. Mrs. L. Ryan; recording secretary. Miss Alice Savage; Sav-age; corresponding secretary, Mrs. Jas. Redding; treasurer. Miss Rose Keirie; registrar, Eutie Keirie: assistant recorder, re-corder, Miss Maggie Walsh. Mrs. Lizzie Mooney, wife of Daniel F. Mooney, died early yesterday morning morn-ing of heart failure at the family home, 17 South Grant street. The end came very suddenly; hardly had the family fam-ily time to gather at the bedside before death came. Mrs. Mooney underwent an operation a m&nth ago and was recovering re-covering nicely when weakening of the heart was noticed. Miss Agnes O'Boyle, who has been visiting in Butte for some days, returned re-turned to her home in Helena Monday night. Miss Nellie Sheehan visited friends in Anaconda Tuesday. Bat O'Neill, for twenty years a miner of Butte, died Monday at the home of Patrick Downey, 21 East Center street. Mr. O'Neill was 45 years of age and single. He is survived by five brothers broth-ers and three sisters. One brother, Dan O'Neill, resides here and another brother. broth-er. Con O'Neill, well known here, is coming from Glenwood Springs, Colo., where he went some months ago for his health. The ceremonies last Monday attendant attend-ant upon the interment of the body of the late Henry Mueller were simple but j impressive. They were in keeping with the modest and useful life of the splendid splen-did citizen who was claimed by death a few days ago and whose death so deeply shocked a community which held him in the hiehest esteem. Hundreds of those who had known him and appreciated ap-preciated him during life paid final tribute to his worth and followed his body to the last resting place in the Catholic cemetery. Rev. Father De Siere celebrated requiem mass, assisted assist-ed by Rev. Father Coopman of Anaconda, Ana-conda, Rev. Father Batens of Center-ville Center-ville and. Rev. Fathers Barry, Follet and O'Kennedy of this city. The pall bearers were Philip Grein of Billings, Charles N. Kessler of Helena, James H. Lynch of Butte, Benjamin Wahle of Boulder, Leopold F. Schmidt of Olympia. Wash., and Alfred Seadorf of Butte. The honorary pall bearers were A. J. Davis, Harry Turner, J. J. O'Mara, W. J. Johnson of Anaconda, John Stel-ger, Stel-ger, Dr. Donald Campbell, Thomas La-velle, La-velle, Charles Schatzlein, P. J. Brophy, Harry Fischer, J. V. Collins, Peter Valiton of Deer Lodge, C. E.
