Show . CHANGES IN CATH0 LIC JOURNALISM. Cardinal Gibbons' personal organ, the Baltimore Catholic Mirror, has suspended publication, which seems odd. as Bcltimore is supposed to be a Catholic Cath-olic community. But Brownson said long ago that "a hundred Baltimore Catholics hadn't sunk enough, to shoo a wet -hen off her nest." Donahoe's Magazine, Maga-zine, it is reported, will be absorbed by the Catholic World, which latter magazine gives constant evidence evi-dence of improvement. The Donahoe interest in the Boston Pilot has been disposed of to Archbishop O'Connell, and in the consequent changes that paper has lost the editorial services of Miss Kath-orino Kath-orino E. Conway, who has joined the Republic staff Irish-American. |
