Show Wedding Bells. A wedding of interest that will take place in the early fall is that of Miss Alice McGuire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. F. McGuire, and Thomas- M. Carroll. 5fc St. Francis de Sale's church was the scene of a very pretty wedding Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, July 1, when Miss Gar-nett Gar-nett Bivins became the bride of Charles A. Morgan. The church was lavishly decorated with palms and cut flowers. The pastor. Rev. J. J. Donnelly, performed per-formed the ceremony. The bride, in her dainty gown of Paris lawn over taffeta, taf-feta, presented a very pretty picture. She was attended by Miss Abce McGuire, Mc-Guire, who is soon to join the ranks of the matrons. The best man was Thomas Thom-as M. Carroll. After the ceremony a reception was tendered the young couple cou-ple at the home of the bride, 3040 Gray street. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan are now-enjoying now-enjoying a tour of the state, after which' they will go to housekeeping in Denver. Den-ver. John McNeil, formerly of Denver but now occupying a responsible position with the Guggenheim interests at Mo-renci, Mo-renci, Ariz., is here on a visit, and the announcement is made that his marriage mar-riage to Miss Elizabeth Lewis will occur oc-cur very soon at Logan Avenue chapel. chap-el. Rev. Father Walsh of Montclair, an old friend, will be the officiating priest. The home of the yfmng people will be in Morenci. Mr. McNeil is a mining engineer and gained an enviable envi-able reputation in his chosen profes sion in Colorado before taking up hia residence in Arizona. Miss Lewis is a sister of Mrs. C. J. Burns of the Cathedral Ca-thedral parish and has many friends here. |
