Show "SNOW WHITE" RETURNS BY POPULAR "DEMAND The legion of Walt Disney fans will literally have a field day with theatres the country over now booking a program heralded as the Great Walt Disney Festival, headed head-ed by the classic full-length fea ture, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," which has been returned to the screen. This marks the first complete all-disney show and it offers a veritable ver-itable parade of Disney hits in addition ad-dition to "Snow White" demanded by the movie-goers through applause ap-plause and postcard tests made by the distributors, RKO Radio Pictures, Pic-tures, in hundreds of theatres. The Walt Disney Festival offers "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," "Ferdinand the Bull," the Three Little Pigs in "The Prac. tical Pig," "The Ugly Duckling" and "Donald's Lucky Day." "The Ugly Duckling" was the Academy Award winner for 1940, and others programmed in the festival are rated tops in popluarity. The festival was first screened in two theatres as a test. At once it caught the imagination of the public in these 'communities to such an extent that the box office did double business, and it was decided by the producers to offer the Festival show to the nation. The show will be at the Isis Theatre The-atre Friday and Saturday. |
